Siew is a Professor in the Department of Agribusiness and Applied Economics at North Dakota State University. Her research focuses on transportation economics, transportation policy, resource economics, and production economics. She explores strategies to enhance the resilience of transportation and agricultural supply chains in the face of climate hazards and uncertainties, with the overarching goals of reducing costs, improving efficiency, and ensuring food security. With a specialized professional background in transportation economics and policy, she has studied the efficiency and productivity of various transportation sectors. Additionally, she has conducted research on water resource management in North Dakota.
